You are entitled to a host of benefits extended to active duty and veterans offered by many as a way of saying thanks for our liberty and freedom.

Step 1. Set up an  account with ID.ME first as a lot of services and businesses require verification of your service including

the veterans administration, irs.gov, pay.gov,  

Step 2. Sign up with VA.GOV

Step 3. Register with https://www.shopmyexchange.com / (Army & Air Force Exchange Services). A gateway to a slew of retailers and programs on the internet. Generally no sales tax and free shipping & sometimes a 10% veterans discount as well.

Websites 

These websites act as restricted e-commerce portals. You must verify your military status via digital verification systems (like ID.me) to log in and view the sales, which often reach 30% to 60% off retail pricing.

• GOVX: The largest military and government-exclusive e-commerce site. It offers up to 50% off current-season apparel, tactical equipment, outdoor gear, sunglasses, and automotive accessories from over 1,000 brands.

• ID.me Shop (Military): An e-commerce hub where verified military members can access private sales on massive consumer electronics, mattresses, apparel, and major home appliances.

• ExpertVoice: Connects service members and veterans directly to over 650 top-tier outdoor, athletic, and tactical brands. Because military personnel are viewed as "industry experts," brands offer insider discounts up to 60% off to get their gear into your hands.

• Vet Tix: A specialized platform strictly for sports, concerts, theater, and family event tickets. Teams and venues donate tickets, meaning veterans and active duty only pay a very small delivery/service fee to attend major events.

Home and Garden 

• Home Depot: Offers a 10% discount up to a maximum of $400 annually for veterans and spouses on eligible purchases.

• Lowe's: Provides an everyday 10% discount on full-price, eligible items with no annual limit for veterans and spouses.

• Sherwin-Williams: Cuts prices by 15% on paints, stains, and painting supplies for veterans and active-duty members.

Apparel & Footwear

• Adidas: Generously provides 30% off online and in-store purchases, and 15% off at factory outlets.

• Under Armour: Takes 20% off online and retail store purchases, plus 10% off at outlet factory locations.

• Lululemon: Offers an everyday 15% discount applicable both in-store and online.

• Kohl's: Provides a 15% discount on qualifying purchases made exclusively in-store on Mondays.

• Nissan: Save between $500 and $1,000 with the Nissan Military Program.
